WLPGA Nominated for Award - Help Us Win!

The WLPGA Innovation & Technology report =E2=80=98LPG for Marine Engines =
=E2=80=93 The Marine Alternative Fuel=E2=80=99 has been shortlisted for t=
he 2018 GREEN4SEA Initiative Award. This award is given to any organisati=
on or association running a specific initiative that has significantly co=
ntributed with towards greener shipping.

With the upcoming stricter IMO emission rules, the global 0.5 sulphur cup=
, ECAS and SECAs emission limits and the requirements for higher quality =
fuel, it is inevitable that there will be a radical change in shipping fu=
el options from HFO to cleaner alternatives. Amongst the options, LPG is =
one of the promising solutions for the reduction of exhaust emissions fro=
m marine vessels. The WLPGA report (download  here [https://www.green4se=

lternative-fuel-2018_01.pdf]) aims to promote the use of LPG as a cleaner=
 engine fuel in the marine sector and it outlines the major benefits that=

LP Gas unveils Hall of Fame Class of 2018

LP Gas Magazine [http://www.lpgasmagazine.com/] has unveiled its  Hall o=
f Fame Class of 2018 [http://www.lpgasmagazine.com/lp-gas-unveils-hall-o=
f-fame-class-of-2018/]. The four inductees for 2018 are Bill Clark (Butan=
e-Propane News), Al Linder (Coast Gas), Stuart Weidie (Blossman Gas) and =
Roy Willis (Propane Education & Research Council).

The four industry leaders were chosen by an LPG selection committee compo=
sed of magazine staff members, as well as representatives from the propan=
e industry.

LP Gas will honour its seventh class of the Hall of Fame during an induct=
ion dinner and ceremony on 5th April 2018, at The Ritz-Carlton in downtow=
n Atlanta. The event precedes the NPGA's Southeastern Convention & Intern=
ational Propane Expo, 6-8 April at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atl=
anta.

WLPGA team warmly congratulates all four gentlemen and looks forward to c=
elebrating this in Atlanta.

WLPGA launch revised Good Business Practices

The Guidelines for Good Business Practices in the LPG Industry, one of th=
e WLPGA=E2=80=99s flagship documents, has recently been revised for 2018.=
 This revision includes references to the Internet of Things (IoT) and ho=
w it can mitigate against bad practices, particularly in the LPG distribu=
tion channel.

The Guidelines for Good Business Practice is the flagship document in a s=
uite of Guidelines for LPG Practices that are all freely available on the=

India challenges China as world's biggest LPG importer

mailade.com/t/r-l-jrijkyhd-krkjhidudt-z/">Hall of Fame Class of 2=
018</a>. The four inductees for 2018 are Bill Clark (Butane-Propane News)=
, Al Linder (Coast Gas), Stuart Weidie (Blossman Gas) and Roy Willis (Pro=
pane Education &amp; Research Council).</p>
<p>
	The four industry leaders were chosen by an LPG selection committee comp=
osed of magazine staff members, as well as representatives from the propa=
ne industry.</p>
<p>
	LP Gas will honour its seventh class of the Hall of Fame during an induc=
tion dinner and ceremony on 5th April 2018, at The Ritz-Carlton in downto=
wn Atlanta. The event precedes the NPGA's Southeastern Convention &amp; I=
nternational Propane Expo, 6-8 April at the Georgia World Congress Center=
, Atlanta.</p>

	WLPGA team warmly congratulates all four gentlemen and looks forward to =

	<strong>The Guidelines for Good Business Practices</strong> in the LPG I=
ndustry, one of the WLPGA=E2=80=99s flagship documents, has recently been=
 revised for 2018. This revision includes references to the Internet of T=
hings (IoT) and how it can mitigate against bad practices, particularly i=
n the LPG distribution channel.</p>

	The <strong>Guidelines for Good Business Practice</strong> is the flagsh=
