More than 180 LNG experts from 25 countries are attending the official
opening of Asia=E2=80=99s 12th LNG Supplies for Asian Markets Conference
(LNGA) in Singapore on 14 February 2017. Celebrating its 12th
Anniversary, the conference will begin with Ministerial Address by Mr.
S. Iswaran, Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry), Singapore.
This is followed by two Keynote Addresses featuring Dr. Lee
Seung-hoon, Chief Executive Officer, Korea Gas Corporation and Mr.
Yuki Sadamitsu, Director, Oil and Gas Division, Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry (METI), Japan; and four other LNG personalities,
Mr. Richard Guerrant, Vice President LNG, ExxonMobil Gas & Power
Company, USA, Mr. Laurent Vivier, President Gas & Power Division,
Total, France, Mr. Hiroko Sato, Chief Fuel Transactions Officer,
Senior Vice President, JERA Co., Japan and Madam Li YaLan, Chairperson
of the Board, Beijing Gas Group Co. Ltd, China.

Chaired by the two co-chairmen, Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki, Chairman, FGE
and Mr. Andy Flower, LNG & Natural Gas Consultant, LNGA will also
feature a special LNG Veterans Panel comprising of key veterans in the
LNG industry, later the same day. VIP guests attending LNGA include
Mr. Harib Al Kitani, Chief Executive Officer, Oman LNG LLC, Oman, Mr.
Seah Moon Ming, Group CEO, Pavilion Energy Pte Ltd and Mr. John Ng,
Chief Executive Officer, Singapore LNG Pte Ltd.

About 45% of delegates attending the conference are from Singapore,
representing Senior Executives of major power companies,
government/regulatory authority, LNG trading companies, international
oil and gas companies, and professionals advising the energy sector.
Another 18% are from North Asia including China, Hong Kong, Japan and
Korea, reflecting the region=E2=80=99s status as an increasingly important
source of demand for LNG Supplies.  The 2017 event will again feature
a large delegation from Papua New Guinea, the latest entrant to the
global LNG markets.

LNGA 2017 takes place at a challenging time for the LNG business with
accelerating growth in supply amidst weakening demand growth in Asia,
which accounted for over 70% of imports in 2016.  The low oil prices
also continue to add pressure to the LNG markets. With speakers and
delegates drawn from all parts of the LNG chain, we can be sure of an
insightful discussion of the issues facing the LNG business in 2017 at
the conference.

The speaker faculty will include leaders and representatives of the
following companies: Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, CNOOC Gas & Power
Trading & Marketing Branch, Diamond Gas International, ENN Energy
Holdings, FGE, Gazprom Marketing & Trading, Glencore, Japan Petroleum

and Developing LNG to Power Projects. These workshops will be

Mr. Ben Smith, Partner; Norton Rose Fulbright (Asia) LLP, Singapore,
respectively.
